Dr. Umesh T is a distinguished Senior Consultant Neurologist with over three decades of clinical, academic, and research experience in the field of neurology. A graduate of Bangalore University, he completed his MD in Internal Medicine from Gulbarga and DM Neurology from the University of Mumbai, where he was awarded the Best Outgoing Young Neurologist. He also holds a DNB in Neurology from AIIMS, New Delhi. Dr. Umesh began his career at Bombay Hospital as a Senior Clinical Research Associate, contributing to pioneering research in Myasthenia Gravis. He later played a key role in establishing the Neurology Department at several leading hospitals in Hyderabad including Mediciti, Yashoda, Continental, and VINN Hospitals. His clinical expertise spans stroke management, neurodegenerative diseases, neuromuscular disorders, epilepsy, and autoimmune neurological conditions. He has served as Principal Investigator in several global clinical trials, including the PRoFeSS Study and REGENESIS-LED Study, and has numerous publications in reputed neurology journals. His academic leadership includes teaching neurology residents and mentoring MRCP trainees as part of structured programs. With additional international training in epilepsy from the University of Venice, Dr. Umesh combines global expertise with compassionate patient care. He is a respected member of the Indian Epilepsy Society and the Neurology Society of India.
